We are currently recruiting for an Agriculture Sustainability Manager. You will support environmental sustainability and drive improvements across the Muller Agriculture suppliers and customers. This will be achieved by engaging with all stakeholders and working collaboratively with the Environmental Sustainability team to support the strategic direction of the Agriculture environmental sustainability strategy and ensure the 30% reduction in carbon emissions is targeted by 2030 with a clear roadmap outlined and maintained, both internally and externally.

In this role the key responsibilities for the Agriculture Sustainability Manager will include:

• Support the creation, development, implementation and management of tools and systems to achieve best in class environmental sustainability status. Benchmark performance against internal and external measures to ensure compliance to mandatory and voluntary standards and requirements.

• Manage and maintain a roadmap of how Agriculture can achieve the 2030 30% reduction target. Visibly champion Muller supply base to support environmental sustainability 2030 target within the Muller UK & Ireland Group.

• Ensure current environmental legislative requirements are met and reviewed and Agriculture and customers are informed of any changes due to be implemented. Take the lead role in understanding the impact and how Muller can create awareness and support farmers.

• Represent the environmental interests of Muller UK & Ireland Group with customers, suppliers and related industry groups. Positively influence and challenge individuals or systems that compromise Agriculture values

• Monitor compliance to KPI & Improvement objectives in line with the 2030 target and roadmap. Provide environmental performance analysis and reporting to internal and external stakeholders. •Support the development of the business case to address environmental sustainability issues. Serve as the “go to” expert for environmental sustainability issues at an Agriculture level.

Key skills & experience for the Agriculture Sustainability Manager:

• Knowledge of sustainability i.e., Scope 3 and clean air strategy (environmental legislation changes).

• Good understanding of Farm Carbon Assessment tools, the availability of assessments, requirements and limitations and the use of Carbon assessments.

• Able to lead the agriculture sustainability agenda.

• Excellent influencing skills.

• High level of Excel and data management skills.

• Confident presenter both internally and externally.

• Able to educate and train stakeholders / teams on new legislative requirements / systems / tools / techniques and how best to implement them
