An ever-growing, multi-crop farming business is on the lookout for an energetic and organised Agricultural Assistant.
If you love farming, have an aptitude for administration, and are keen to work with like-minded agricultural professionals, we'd love to chat with you!
What You'll Be Doing:
You'll be the go-to person for agricultural due diligence matters.
You'll be helping them to nail their audits, including Red Tractor and LEAF, and making sure that the company is ticking all the compliance boxes. Don't worry if you're new to this - they will provide plenty of support to get you up to speed.
Collaborating closely with managers in both the fruit and the arable divisions, you'll be the key link ensuring seamless communication across the board.
What you'll need:
Ideally, you've got some experience in farming or agriculture. An agricultural degree is great, but they are open to people with a quality background too.
We're not expecting you to be an expert across arable and soft fruit, but willingness to learn is key.
You'll be comfortable with numbers, any exposure to compliance and an understanding of farm cycles is a big plus.
