Based in Norwich and the surrounding Norfolk area, we are working with employers looking for experienced engineers who can diagnose, maintain and repair a wide range of agricultural machinery including tractors, telehandlers, combines, harvesters, sprayers and specialist farm equipment.

The Role - Agricultural Service Technician / Agricultural Engineer

As an Agricultural Service Technician, you will be responsible for:

Servicing, maintaining and repairing agricultural machinery including tractors, telehandlers, harvesters and farm equipment
Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic faults
Carrying out planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and inspections
Working both in a workshop environment and attending customer sites as a field-based Agricultural Engineer
Using manufacturer diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults
Completing repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship
Completing service reports, job cards and warranty paperwork accurately
Supporting farmers, contractors and rural businesses with reliable technical support
Working safely and following company health and safety procedures

What We Are Looking For

To be considered for this Agricultural Engineer / Farm Machinery Technician role, you will ideally have:

Previous experience as an Agricultural Engineer, Agricultural Technician, Farm Machinery Technician, Plant Engineer or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Experience maintaining and repairing:

Tractors
Telehandlers
Harvesters
Combines
Sprayers
Construction plant
Heavy machinery

Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills
Experience using diagnostic equipment
Relevant qualifications such as:

Agricultural Engineering apprenticeship
Land-Based Engineering qualification
Level 2/3 Agricultural Engineering
Plant Maintenance qualification
Heavy Vehicle Maintenance qualification

Full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service
