We are currently working with an education provider in the Lancashire area who are looking for an Agricultural Engineering Lecturer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The education provider is a specialist in land-based courses such as Agricultural Engineering, and has a great reputation for offering a high quality level of teaching in this subject area.

The position is a full-time role of 37 hours per week, and would involve the delivery of a variety of Land-based Engineering courses, ranging from level 1 to level 3.

You will need to have a sound practical background in engineering with experience in the operation, overhaul and repair of agricultural and associated heavy vehicles (ie. tractors, ploughs, combine harvesters, etc), construction plant machinery, or military vehicles.

The starting salary would be up to a maximum of £41,821 per annum, and you would also get a generous teacher's pension (with employer contributions of 28.68%) in addition to a holiday allocation of 42 days (plus Bank Holidays and closure days).

To apply for the role, you MUST have:
-A qualification in Agricultural Engineering (or a related subject)
-Experience of maintaining agricultural/heavy plant machinery OR heavy/tracked vehicles

Please note that you don't need a teaching qualification in order to apply to this role, as the education provider would be able to put you through one if you don't have one already.

I am looking to set up interviews as soon as possible, so if you are interested and available for interview, please reply with your CV and daytime contact number and I'll get back to you, or you can always call me on (phone number removed).

Please feel free to pass on my details if you know someone who might be interested.
