Aftercare Manager – Industrial & Logistics

Up to £75,000 + package | National Role | Permanent

We’re working with a leading industrial and logistics contractor delivering major projects for Amazon, and they’re looking for an experienced Aftercare Manager to join the team on a national basis.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager, Senior Site Manager or Contracts Manager who understands construction, enjoys dealing directly with clients and has the ability to take ownership of issues through to resolution.

The Role

You’ll be the key point of contact for the client once projects reach completion, managing the aftercare process and making sure defects, outstanding works and client queries are dealt with quickly and professionally.

Key responsibilities:

* Act as the main point of contact for the client throughout the aftercare period

* Manage defects, outstanding works and remedial issues from identification through to completion

* Liaise with subcontractors and supply chain to ensure issues are resolved

* Attend client meetings, inspections and site visits

* Review issues, identify root causes and agree the appropriate solution

* Track and manage defects through to sign-off

* Work closely with project and site teams to ensure a smooth handover

* Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to the client and internal teams

* Build strong working relationships with key client stakeholders

* Travel nationally to projects as required

About You

We're ideally looking for someone with a strong construction background, potentially coming from a:

* Project Manager

* Senior Site Manager

* Contracts Manager

* Construction Manager

* Aftercare / Customer Care background

You’ll need to be confident dealing directly with clients, technically capable of understanding construction defects and practical enough to work with subcontractors to get issues resolved.

Experience across industrial, logistics, warehouse or large-scale commercial projects would be highly beneficial, although the right construction background is more important.
