Description:

We're working with a leading blue-chip main contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Aftercare Manager to join their team in the Berkshire area.

The business has an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects across a range of sectors, including commercial offices, residential developments, education, healthcare, leisure, retail and mixed-use schemes. With a strong pipeline of work and a focus on quality and client satisfaction, this is a great opportunity to join an established and highly respected contractor.

As Aftercare Manager, you'll take ownership of the post-completion process, ensuring projects are handed over smoothly and any defects or outstanding works are dealt with efficiently and professionally.

Key responsibilities:

Managing the aftercare and defects process from practical completion through to final resolution.
Coordinating subcontractors, site teams, consultants and clients to ensure issues are addressed promptly.
Carrying out regular inspections and monitoring outstanding defects.
Maintaining accurate records and reporting on aftercare performance.
Building strong relationships with clients and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Working closely with the wider project and commercial teams to ensure a smooth transition from construction into aftercare.
Ensuring health, safety, quality and company procedures are maintained throughout the process.The ideal candidate:

Previous experience in an Aftercare, Defects, Customer Care or Construction Management role.
Strong knowledge of the construction process and building defects.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Confident dealing with clients, subcontractors and senior stakeholders.
Able to manage multiple projects/issues and prioritise effectively.
