Teaching Assistant
3:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Join our vibrant and dynamic after school club located in the heart of Acton. Our program provides a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children aged 5-11. We are committed to fostering creativity, encouraging learning, and supporting the holistic development of each child in our care.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the daily operations of the after school club, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children, and supporting the delivery of a variety of activities including homework help, arts and crafts, sports, and games.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage with children during after school hours
Assist in planning and facilitating educational and recreational activities
Provide homework support and guidance
Ensure the safety and security of all children
Foster a positive and inclusive environment
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff members
Assist with the setup and cleanup of activities and snacks
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational or childcare setting
A genuine passion for working with young children
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Basic first aid training (preferred)
A relevant childcare or teaching assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
