A&E Nurse / Emergency Department Nurse – Preston & Chorley
HCR Recruitment is recruiting experienced A&E Nurses and Emergency Department Nurses across Preston, Chorley and surrounding areas. Flexible agency shifts are available for nurses seeking regular work or additional hours.
Key Responsibilities
*
Assess, triage and provide emergency nursing care to patients with urgent and complex healthcare needs.
*
Monitor patient conditions, recognise deterioration and escalate concerns appropriately.
*
Administer medications and treatments safely in line with clinical guidance.
*
Support emergency procedures, interventions and resuscitation when required.
*
Complete clinical observations, assessments and accurate patient documentation.
*
Work effectively within a multidisciplinary emergency care team.
*
Provide reassurance, communication and support to patients and their families.
*
Follow NMC standards, infection prevention, safeguarding and clinical procedures.
*
Adapt quickly to changing priorities within a busy Emergency Department.
*
Maintain high standards of safe and compassionate A&E nursing care.
Essential Requirements
*
Current NMC Registration as a Registered Nurse.
*
Minimum 6 months' UK A&E / Emergency Department experience.
*
Previous Emergency Department experience is essential.
*
Valid Enhanced DBS.
*
Professional references covering the last 3 years of employment.
*
Strong emergency assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
*
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
*
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
*
Right to work in the UK.
