Advanced Technical Lecturer – Electrical Location: Newcastle
Salary: £44,526 – £48,428 per annum
Think FE are working with a respected and forward-thinking further education college in the North East to recruit an Advanced Technical Lecturer in Electrical on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical professional or established FE lecturer to join a college with strong employer links, modern facilities and a commitment to high-quality technical education.
You’ll deliver engaging and inclusive teaching across electrical programmes, supporting learners to develop the practical skills and industry knowledge needed to succeed in the sector. You’ll also contribute to assessment, learner support and curriculum development while helping maintain high standards across the department.
The college would also welcome applications from experienced industry professionals looking to move into education.
Requirements
Relevant Electrical qualification – Electrical Installation / Inspection & Testing / AM2 or equivalent
Teaching qualification required
Assessor qualification (or willingness to work towards)
Internal Verification qualification preferred
Ability to deliver engaging and inclusive teaching
Strong industry knowledge and awareness of current electrical practices
Confidence using digital learning tools
Commitment to safeguarding and learner support
