Advanced Scaffolder - Water Orton- £24.86
VGC Group are looking for experienced Advanced Scaffolder to start on a project in Water Orton. This contract is available to start ASAP and we can offer up to 3 years worth of work to a successful candidate.
Role: Advanced Scaffolder
Location: Water Orton
Salary: £24.86 per hour PAYE
Hours: Monday - Friday - 7.30am - 5.30pm with an hour break
Contract: Contract of employment
Experience: 2 years +
Qualifications: CISRS Advanced Scaffolder Card – SSSTS/SMSTS

Advanced Scaffolder experience
Your role as an Advanced Scaffolder will be based in Water Orton and will consist of:
Assemble scaffolding according to project specifications and safety regulations.
Erect and dismantle scaffolding structures, including metal pipes, wooden planks, and other materials.
Use hand and power tools to connect scaffolding components securely.
Implement safety measures such as guardrails, toe boards, and safety nets.
Plan scaffolding layout and placement to accommodate project requirements.
Ensure scaffolding can support the weight of workers, materials, and equipment safely.
Calculate and manage the load-bearing capacity of scaffolding structures.
Conduct risk assessments and site inspections to ensure scaffolding is safe and compliant with safety regulations.
Regularly inspect and maintain scaffolding structures to ensure stability and safety.
Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Based in Water Orton remuneration for this role is £24.86 per hour, you will accrue holiday entitlement and be eligible to join the VGC pension scheme once certain criteria have been met.
