Description:

If you are looking for a role that blends quality leadership, structured project delivery, and real impact in the automotive supply chain, then the Advanced Quality Engineer position is a standout opportunity. As an Advanced Quality Engineer, you will coordinate APQP activity across new product introductions, drive BEON/PPAP release status, and help ensure launch targets are met with confidence. This is an ideal next step if your strengths include problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and turning complex requirements into clear action for teams on the ground.

What You Will Do:

- Coordinate APQP activities across all new product introductions and oversee BEON/PPAP release status for customer-released products. - Control and track APQP documents through PPAP approval for new program launches to meet customer submission dates. - Execute PPAP submissions and approvals for customer and internal engineering changes. - Create monthly PPAP/BEON status reports for management and escalate any delays affecting submission targets. - Own project quality across project phases, acting as a key point of contact for customer quality concerns. - Support D/PFMEA and DFM reviews, root cause analysis, and lesson-learned workshops to drive continuous improvement.

What You Will Bring:

- Significant experience in medium-volume manufacturing, ideally within automotive, with strong APQP and PPAP/BEON exposure. - Demonstrable problem-solving capability, including methods such as 8D, PPS, and advanced root cause analysis. - Competent knowledge of Automotive quality expectations, including IMDS understanding. - Experience dealing with customers and suppliers, with strong communication and stakeholder management. - IAFT 16949 auditing experience is essential (VDA experience is a beneficial plus).

In this Advanced Quality Engineer role, the focus is delivering world-class quality outcomes in a highly competitive, technology-driven automotive environment. The company builds high-performance exterior lighting products for premium car makers, and your work will directly support transformation, safer launches, and stronger supplier quality through effective quality championing and run-at-rate readiness.

Location:

The role is based in Buckingham, with on-site working aligned to project and customer needs within manufacturing operations.
