Description:

Our client Liverpool city council is looking for an Advanced Practitioner to join their Fostering support and supervision team.

We are looking for a new social worker within Fostering Support and Supervision, to specifically support foster carers who have recently been assessed under Regulation 24.

Candidates must be experienced in Fostering - specifically within Support and Supervision and have strong knowledge of Fostering Regulations 2011 and National Minimum Fostering Standards to apply for the role

The role includes;

Providing high level of support and guidance to Foster Carers ensuring they meet the national minimum standards and Fostering regulations and children achieve their potential and best possible outcomes
Identifying any training needs of the Foster Carers and ensuring foster cares complete statutory training
Regular supervision visits to all Foster Carers, undertaking high quality sessions
Completion of formal annual reviews
Making informed child centred decisions, applying critical reflection and analysis in complex cases
Ability to meet demands of the service, producing consistent high quality work to good standard within set timescales
Ensure children and young people are safeguarded in their foster placementsBenefits of working with Remedy
