Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)

Location: Wimbledon, London

My Client is currently seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join their healthcare team in Wimbledon.

Position Overview:

The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will play a pivotal role in providing primary care services. Responsibilities include conducting health assessments, diagnosing and treating illnesses, prescribing medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories.
Diagnose and treat common illnesses and injuries, as well as manage chronic conditions.
Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary, adhering to established protocols.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies.
Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and chronic condition management.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:

Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
Completion of an Advanced Nurse Practitioner program at Master's level or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in primary care.
Prescribing qualification and experience prescribing independently.
Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
