Eden Brown are looking for Adults Social Workers in Gloucestershire.
This is a full time permanent role paying between: £36,648 - £38,223
We are recruiting on behalf of a client who are looking for someone who is flexible and adaptable in their practice, someone who is creative, innovative and searches for imaginative solutions that are not always obvious. You need to be self-motivated, pragmatic, and resilient
The purpose of the role is to:
- Listen to the people of Gloucestershire, supporting them to connect to community resources, including promoting digital inclusion recognising the opportunities and risk of new technologies, digital resources, online communications, virtual environments and social media in social work.
- Prioritise supporting people in crisis to regain control of their lives, working together to achieve effective plans to reduce risk and ensure people are more stable.
- In line with the Care Act, undertake complex social care interventions including assessments, to determine eligibility, and support plans, to ensure individuals are enabled to lead
the lives they choose.
- To coordinate and manage section 42 enquiries and complex, high risk situations, utilising professional judgement throughout.
- To promote social change and development, social cohesion and the empowerment and liberation.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a social work qualification and be SWE* registered
- Have completed your ASYE* programme or have relevant statutory experience
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Have the passion to promote people's strengths and the ability to make a difference in a safe working approach to social work practice
- Have the right to work in the UK
