JOB TITLE: Learning Disability Support Worker

About the Role
Vetro Recruitment is seeking compassionate, reliable Support Workers for Learning Disability Support Worker opportunities in Tondu. You will support adults (18+) with autism spectrum conditions and associated complex needs across residential, supported living, and day services. This Learning Disability Support Worker role in Tondu offers both part-time and full-time hours, with day, night, and sleep shifts available.

Key Duties

* Support individuals with everyday tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and personal care

* Promote independence and encourage life skills development

* Build positive relationships with service users, families, and the wider team

* Support emotional wellbeing and help people work towards personal goals

* Participate in engaging activities, including walks, games, music sessions, and arts and crafts

* Ensure safety and dignity at all times

* Observe, monitor, and keep accurate records of support and wellbeing

Requirements

* At least 6 months of experience in a social care setting

* A current Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one

* Right to work in the UK

* Ability to work above 24 hours per week

* A full driver's licence is essential, as community support and attendance at activities will be part of the role
