A Local Authority is looking for multiple Adult Social Workers to join several different teams. These are all Permanent placements that offer a great amount of support with progression opportunities. They have ambitious improvement and transformation plans to create optimum conditions within their service which their staff can make a real difference and improve outcomes for Adults.
As an Adult Social Worker, you will be expected to provide expert opinion within the organisation and to others, to uphold the rights of people with care and support needs. You will work in line with legislative frameworks in complex situations, assessing and managing higher levels of risk; and you will be expected to promote the profession and good social work practice.

Responsibilities of you as a Social Worker:

To anticipate, assess and manage multiple risks and complex situations, including leading section 42 enquiries and attending/coordinating risk management forums (i.e. MAPPA/MARAC)
Support people to connect to community resources, including promoting digital inclusion; recognising the opportunities and risk of new technologies, digital resources, online communications, virtual environments and social media in social work.
Prioritise supporting people in crisis to regain control of their lives, working together to achieve effective plans to reduce risk and ensure people are more stable.
In line with the Care Act, undertake complex social care interventions including assessments, to determine eligibility, and support plans, to ensure individuals are enabled to lead the lives they choose.
To work to relevant legislation recognising where scope for professional judgement exists and understanding when to access support and appropriate legal advice and consultation.  
Requirements of you as a Social Worker:

Social Work England registration
A recognised qualification in Social Work
A full UK driving licence
DBS clearance
Authority to work in the UK 
Location: Southwest (M5 corridor)

Salary scale: £35,000 - £44,000 dependent on experience
