Pay: up to £40 per hour

Contract: Full-Time Locum

Are you an experienced and dedicated Adult Social Worker with a passion for safeguarding? Do you have the leadership skills to manage and support a team in a dynamic and challenging environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Adult Safeguarding Team as a Deputy Team Manager/Practice Manager in Central London.

About the Role:

As the Deputy Team Manager/Practice Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and supporting the safeguarding process within our Adult Social Care services. You will lead a team of four Social Workers and an Assistant Practitioner, ensuring that high standards of practice are maintained and that service users receive the best possible care and protection.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide effective line management and supervision to a team of Social Workers and an Assistant Practitioner.

Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures and the Care Act.

Oversee complex safeguarding cases and provide guidance and support to team members.

Monitor and manage team performance, ensuring timely and effective responses to safeguarding concerns.

Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding.

Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve practice and service delivery.

Requirements:

Social Work England registration is essential.

Significant experience in adult social work, with a strong focus on safeguarding.

Proven line management and supervisory experience.

In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Care Act and safeguarding processes.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload.
