If that sounds like you, we are looking for a Service Manager to add to our pool of talented and hardworking Managers to support our day service in Heanor. You may have developed services from new, be an established Manager, or someone who is looking to take the next step in their career.

This is an opportunity to make a real difference for our service users. In this role you will have strategic and operational management responsibility for the development and delivery of the service. We provide a comprehensive induction training specialising in Autism. We also offer continued professional development with additional autism specialist courses delivered by our in-house Learning & Development and Positive Behaviour Support team. At AEM we want our service managers to support us to achieve our mission in offering individuals with autism to have maximum choice and control in their lives, progress service users towards their goals and develop their independence. You will play a critical role in developing an extended range of services which are aspirational for our service users; tailored to individual needs and enables their progression towards independence.

You will be managing an established team in a large day service so we are looking for someone:

* With great leadership skill to inspire the team (listening, collaborative and an approachable nature)

* That leads by example, practicing positive behaviours and challenging others to be the best we can be

* Has really high standards

* Has the drive to continue pushing the service forward

* Who can take part in the Operational Managers on call rota
