Adult's Social Worker Physical Disability Team

£38 per hour

Hampshire County Council are recruiting a social worker to join the adult's physical disability team based in Totton (New Forest).

Responsibilities:

Allocated case work
Very little or no duty desk responsibilities
Shorter term pieces of work
Some legal document work in respect of COP3, MCA and supporting case workers with complex MCA assessments
Care Act s9 and s10 assessments and requesting authorisation of implementation of support plans
Supporting Individuals to engage with financial assessment
Making referrals to brokerage to source providers of care and support
Setting up of and review of Direct Payments
Reviews of support plans and care home placementsRequirements

3 years post qualifying experience
Social work degree
Experience of working with children and families in social work setting
Knowledge of child protection legislation and understanding of child protection issues and substitute careBenefits

A 9 day working fortnight
Annual leave of 25 days per annum
