This Adult Learning Disability Support Worker role in Morriston, Swansea offers flexibility with a variety of shift patterns, including days, nights, sleeps, and short or long shifts. Temporary work is available, with the opportunity for a pathway to permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide therapeutic care and support to residents, including individuals with Autism and complex needs
* Observe, monitor, and record residents’ conditions accurately
* Support individuals through their care pathway to promote independence
* Treat each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty
* Work collaboratively with a multi-professional team to deliver personalised care
Requirements
* Minimum of 6 months experience in a social care setting
* Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
* Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
* Right to work in the UK
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to pay for practical training (PBM, Manual Handling, Buccal) if not already completed
* Willingness to complete online training (at no cost)
