Administrator Opportunity - Northampton Swan Valley (NN4)

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Administrator to join our client's busy and well-established operation in Northampton Swan Valley (NN4).

Our client is a leading name in the distribution industry, supplying a wide range of beers, wines, and spirits to the public sector-offering a fast-paced and dynamic working environment with excellent long-term prospects.

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday

Pay & Contract

£14.01 per hour (PAYE)
Temp ongoing contractThe Role

As an Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the distribution function.

Your responsibilities will include:

Coordinating and scheduling all inbound deliveries to the National Distribution Centre (NDC)
Accurately booking in deliveries and conducting physical checks when required
Managing returned packaging from breweries and ensuring timely processing
Allocating outbound loads and preparing all required documentation in advance
Monitoring pre-picks, pre-allocations, and ensuring product readiness
Overseeing packaging allocation and meeting loading deadlines
Updating internal systems (including LAB screens) as required
Tracking turnaround times from breweries and maintaining operational flow
Resolving any on-shift issues efficiently and professionally
Conducting stock and product checks where necessary
Ensuring pallet network orders are processed accurately and on timeWhat We're Looking For

We're seeking a proactive and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have:

Previous experience within FMCG or distribution environments
Familiarity with warehouse management systems
Strong IT and computer skills
Experience working in a computerised warehouse setting
Excellent communication skills at all levels
A methodical and detail-oriented approach
Strong time management and organisational skills
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
