Salary: £12 per hour
Hours: 25 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 5 hours per day)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Care Home Administrator to join one of our clients at a well-established care home in New Milton. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of administrative operations within the care home.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the care home management team, including handling phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
* Resident Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of residents, including personal details, care plans, and medical information.
* Admissions and Discharges: Assist with the admission and discharge processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and promptly.
* Finance and Invoicing: Manage financial records, process invoices, and assist with payroll administration.
* Communication: Serve as the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries and concerns.
* Staff Coordination: Support the scheduling and coordination of staff shifts and training sessions.
* Supplies Management: Monitor and order office supplies and equipment as needed.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a healthcare or care home setting.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
* A compassionate and empathetic approach to working in a care environment.
