Stock Control Administrator
Location: Wellingborough
Job Type: Temp – Perm
Payrate: £11.85
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
Quest Employment is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stock Control Administrator to join our clients team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring stock inventory is managed efficiently, deliveries are accurately recorded, and our customers receive their orders on time. Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
·Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels.
·Conduct regular stock checks and reconciliations.
·Update inventory records in real-time.
Order Processing:
·Process customer orders and ensure accurate picking and packing.
·Prepare orders for delivery or shipment.
·Collaborate with other teams to fulfil orders on time.
Delivery Recording:
·Track incoming and outgoing deliveries.
·Record delivery details accurately, including tracking numbers and delivery dates.
·Investigate and resolve delivery discrepancies or issues.
Communication:
·Liaise with suppliers, delivery personnel, and other relevant parties.
·Communicate with customers regarding order status and delivery schedules.
Documentation:
·Maintain organized records of stock levels, orders, and deliveries.
·Generate reports as needed for management and auditing purposes.
Quality Control:
·Ensure that delivered products meet quality standards.
·Report and address any damaged or defective items promptly.
Efficiency and Process Improvement:
·Identify opportunities to streamline inventory and delivery processes.
·Suggest improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
·Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, or a related role.
·Familiarity with inventory management software and tools.
·Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
·Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations.
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
·Confident with phone and email correspondence.
·Ability to collaborate with team members to ensure workload is handled in an efficient and timely manner.
