Description:

Morson are currently recruiting for an Early Careers Administrator for a 3 month contract starting 1st July 2024 based in Maidenhead.

Project/Department Overview (project/department name and brief summary)

Talent and Development Team

The team overall is accountable for ensuring that Costain has resilience in the skills and capabilities required both now and for the future. This role will form part of the Early Careers team and will act as support to the team in ensuring the delivery of training, development and administrative support to the team. This will extend to supporting queries and services to the early careers population of Apprentices, Graduates and Interns and their associated line managers throughout the business.

Job Description/Purpose (outline of role purpose)

· To assist the Early Careers Team with administrating training and development courses for the Early Careers Pipeline

· To assist the Early Careers team with general administration relating to programme delivery.

· To ensure the accurate training record information and management of the apprenticeship levy account.

Key Responsibilities (maximum 6-8 key responsibilities)

· Manage and maintain the Apprenticeship Digital Account

Maintain and establish reporting methods of Early Careers population.

Support the recruitment process within the team by coordinating and arranging candidate/line Manager interviews

· Assist with the creation of training curriculum

· Assist with managing the Early Careers internal and external applicant inbox and actioning queries.

· Manage event booking processes and attendance for delegates and training providers

· Support the Team with document creation relating to process and policy within the function.

· General invoicing administration support.

· Create joining instructions for internal and external courses as required.

· Manage bursary payment scheme and expenses for assessment centre travel.

· Manage events tracker, recruitment tracker and population trackers for Early Careers Population ensuring accuracy and availability of stats as required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential

· Intermediate to Advanced skills in MS Outlook, Word and Excel

· Good attention to detail

· Clear and concise communications skills, adapting to different stakeholders.

· Experienced in the administration, reporting and functionality of the Apprenticeship Digital Account.

· Flexible and collaborative style, able to work effectively in a hybrid team environment with minimal supervision.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently.

· Initiative to prioritise daily tasks and inbound requests

Desirable

· Administrative experience gained within a technical/engineering/construction sector.

Background understanding of Early Careers programmes and processes

Cornerstone LMS experience

Qualifications

Essential

§ GCSE Maths and English (C) or equivalent

Desirable

§ Microsoft Essentials
