Morson Talent are currently recruiting for an Administrator to work on the behalf of one of our reputable Aerospace clients based in Yeovil, Somerset. This role is initially a 1 year contract, with potential of extension.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY
• To work within the Work Analysis team conducting analytical review of deviations to set targets for working efficiencies, gross productivity, ’k’ indices and associated trends.
• Support the generation and maintenance of key performance and reporting metrics for distribution throughout the business.
• Provide consistency by way of professional behaviours, SOP and Process review, and support/training for staff on the line.
• Be comfortable performing regular administrative duties such as running data drops, refreshing reports, transposing data and formatting SOPs.
• Occasional shift work required to support observational assessments.
• Own and Co-ordinate the departments RAIL’s driving action between all stakeholders.
• Assist WA Officers & Team Lead with various administration tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To support the Work Analysis Team Lead in harmonising a common work analysis methodology, ensuring cross site/plant consistency.
• To undertake the responsibility of documenting minutes and capturing key actions within a meeting environment.
• To update, maintain and be the departmental point of contact for our RAIL’s (Rolling Action Item List) in order to drive actions on the back of re-occurring department meetings.
• To administer hour corrections on MES (Manufacturing Execution System).
• To obtain & export RAW data from SAP.
• To assist the department by updating and compiling SOPs on new/modified procedures.
• To produce and analyse weekly/monthly performance data against reason codes, efficiency, diversions, capacity, cost and labour.
• Work with all of the Aircraft Operations team and with other teams around the business to develop and continuously improve the work analysis reporting processes in order to meet the needs of the business.
• Ensure that all processes are accurately documented in the team’s departmental instructions.
• To accurately analyse operational data and associated tasks and provide clear and concise reports.
• Determine cost centre working efficiencies, gross productivity, ’k’ indices and associated trends.
• Aid the determination of accountability of variance from assigned labour costs through review meetings with associated stake holders.
• Support the implementation of new technology and supporting processes ensuring suitable measures and checks to ensure process discipline.
• Have a full understanding & working knowledge of key tools, including FAST, MES, JIRA, & WOW. Undertake training & coaching for the team & external customers
• You will undertake any other reasonable tasks that the Business Performance & Works Analysis Manager or Works Analysis Team Lead may require of you so long as you have the appropriate skills, knowledge and support to be able to undertake the task.

MUST HAVE:
• Computer literate with an understanding of all Microsoft products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including capability to make presentations
• Good mathematical skills and ability to assimilate large volumes of data
• Possess a methodical and systematic approach
• Qualification or equivalent experience to a GCSE level in a numerical based subject
• Team player who is customer focused

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience working in an Aerospace industry
• Knowledge of ERP systems and how they work
• Microsoft Power BI Experience
• Understanding of LEAN and other continuous improvement tools and techniques
