Temporary Administrator (long term assignment)

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organised individual to join our client as a Temporary Administrative Assistant specialising in Order Processing. Administrator Overview:
As a Temporary Administrative Assistant specializing in Order Processing, you will play a crucial role in supporting testing services across diverse industries. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in administrative tasks while contributing to the efficient functioning of our operations.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Inputting Orders: Accurately input orders into our systems, ensuring all relevant details are captured and documented efficiently. Liaise with clients and internal teams to gather necessary information for order processing.
Updating Data: Utilise spreadsheets and databases to input and update data related to orders, maintaining accurate records of transactions and client information.
Processing Orders: Facilitate the processing of orders in collaboration with logistics and laboratory teams, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment. Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth order flow and adherence to quality standards.
Sending Orders Out: Coordinate shipping logistics and arrange for orders to be dispatched to clients. Generate shipping labels, coordinate with courier services, and ensure timely delivery.
 
Qualifications:
Administrative or data entry training is a plus.
Proven experience in data entry, preferably in a fast-paced administrative environment.
Proficiency in using spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel) and familiarity with database systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
