£12.18 per hour
Ongoing Contract
Working Hours: Mon-Fri 08.30am to 4.30pm
A Basic DBS check is required for this role or willing to obtain one.
The Job Purpose as an Administrator
* We are seeking to appoint an Administration Officer for a position in our Policy and Compliance team.
* The successful applicant will form part of a team which supports our front-line services
Administration Experience and Qualifications Required
* Level 2 NVQ or 3 GCSES Grade C or above.
* An awareness and understanding of the role of business support team.
* An understanding of what makes excellent customer service.
* Knowledge of good practices for handling confidential data
* Time management skills including the ability to prioritise individual workload and to adhere to agree deadlines and targets
* Interpersonal skills including the ability I build and maintain positive working relationships.
* Experience of using office software such as Microsoft packages
* Experience of updating and maintaining records.
The Job Role:
* Dealing with telephone and face to face enquiries
* General filing, storing of information and other office duties
* Administration duties such as word processing and data input (experience with Excel essential)
* Assist with the completion of returns
* Carrying out other duties as required by the service
