Unity Recruitment are looking to recruit a PCN Administrator for our clients office in Basingstoke. The position is available immediately.

Responsibility:

The Parking Charge Notice (PCN) Administrator is responsible for the administration and management of parking charge notices issued within FAAC Mobility Services (FMS) managed facilities. This role involves handling the end-to-end process of issuing, recording, and managing PCNs, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
*Issue and Process PCNs:
*Accurately issue parking charge notices based on recorded infractions.
*Input PCN data into the parking management system.
*Monitor and update the status of issued PCNs.

Customer Service and Correspondence:
*Respond to customer inquiries and disputes regarding PCNs via phone, email, and mail.
*Provide clear and concise information regarding parking regulations and PCN appeals processes.
*Resolve disputes and escalate issues as necessary.
Documentation and Reporting:
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all PCNs and related correspondence.
*Prepare and submit regular reports on PCN issuance, payment, and dispute resolution statistics.
*Assist in the preparation of documentation for legal proceedings related to unpaid PCNs.
Compliance and Policy Adherence:
*Ensure all PCNs are issued and managed in compliance with relevant laws and organizational policies.
*Stay updated on changes in parking regulations and ensure the team is informed of any updates.

Payment Processing:
*Manage the processing of PCN payments, including handling online, phone, and mail payments.
*Follow up on unpaid PCNs through appropriate channels, including reminders and escalation to collection agencies if necessary.
Team Collaboration:
*Work closely with the parking enforcement team to ensure accurate and fair issuance of PCNs.
*Coordinate with other departments as needed to resolve parking-related issues.

Qualifications and Skills:
Experience:
*Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within parking management or a similar field.
*Experience in customer service and handling disputes is highly desirable.
Skills:
*Excellent organizational and administrative skills with a high level of attention to detail.
*Strong written and verbal communication skills.
*Proficiency in using office software, including Microsoft Office Suite and specialized parking management systems.
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
*Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
Working Conditions:
*Office environment with standard working hours; occasional overtime may be required.
*
Regular interaction with the public and various stakeholders.

Offering:

26k per annum
25 days annual leave
Office based, Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00
Full time, permanent
