Administrative Assistant - Part-time
Location: Ashtead Hospital, Surrey
Hours: 25 per week, part-time, over 5 days Mon-Fri
Salary: Up to £22,700 Pro rata (depending on experience) + Benefits

Ashtead Hospital is one of Surrey's leading private hospitals with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare for self-pay/insured and NHS patients. Conveniently situated close to Leatherhead (Junction 9 of the M25), the hospital is located in tranquil, wooded surroundings. These provide a peaceful environment to aid a speedy recovery.
The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Assistant to join our Business Office Team at Ashtead Hospital. This role although based at Ashtead Hospital covers the invoicing facilities for Three Hospitals. This is a highly respected hospital with an excellent reputation for the highest standards of care and service.
As the Administrative Assistant, you will be reporting to the Business Administration Manager. This is an extremely busy role which involves billing for multi-sites and liaising with patients, Consultants, and hospital departments. We need an individual with a professional approach, excellent verbal communication skills, initiative, and the ability to work within a team. Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office essential.
Skills & Attributes:
Previous Administration experience ideally in a Healthcare or data driven setting
Excellent customer service skills - to be provided at all times
Ability to deal with patients/ customers in a sensitive and professional manner
Attention to detail
Professional and confident communication skills - in person and by phone
Good computer skills - working on variety of systems
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
Ability to multi-task
Accuracy and reliability
Numerical skills
