Description:

Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and professional Administrative Assistant to join one of our supportive Schools in Northumberland on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of the School, working closely with staff, pupils, parents and visitors to ensure the highest standards of administration are maintained.

About the Role:

· The role will involve providing general administrative support to the School office, including managing emails, telephone enquiries and visitor sign-ins.

· The role will also involve maintaining accurate pupil and staff records, updating databases and ensuring confidential information is handled appropriately.

· A key part of the role will be supporting the Leadership Team and wider School staff with administrative tasks, scheduling meetings and preparing documentation as required.

· The role will involve liaising with parents, carers and external agencies, providing a professional and welcoming first point of contact for the School.

· The role may also involve assisting with attendance monitoring, data entry, filing and other office duties as required.

Pay, Hours and Contract:

· Pay - Between £90-120 per day (depending on experience)

· Hours -

· Contract - Full-time. Long term role with potential temp to perm options available

· Start Date - ASAP

· Location - Ashington

Experience/Qualifications and Requirements:

· Previous administrative or office experience, ideally within an educational setting (desired)

· Strong IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office applications

· Excellent communication and organisational skills

· Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise tasks effectively

· A professional, friendly and proactive approach to work

· Experience of working with confidential information and maintaining accurate records

· Hold Right to Work in the UK

· Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

· Provide two professional references that cover the last two years
