Administration Assistant - Transport Operations
Location: Bolton, BL5
We are recruiting an Administration Assistant to join a leading logistics company at their distribution centre in Bolton. This is a long-term, temp-to-perm opportunity with an immediate start.
Shifts and Pay Rates
4 days on, 4 days off rolling rota to include weekdends as per your rota
10:00am - 10:00pm
£13.63 per hour
Overtime after 39 hours at £20.44 per hour
Long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent
Key Responsibilities
Processing paperwork, including customer orders and delivery notes
Assisting drivers over the telephone and face to face
Updating and maintaining information on the computer system
Providing general administrative support to the transport operation
About You
Good written and verbal communication skills
An interest in transport, logistics or distribution operations
Good attention to detail and basic computer skills
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Own transport is essential due to the location and shift times, unless you live locally
