Admin & Parcel Operative

Seasonal

£14 per hour

This role is 5 from 7 days with variable hours but some flexibility during our busy season is key.

We are looking for a Admin & Parcel Operative to undertake the following duties on a day-to-day basis:

Key Responsibilities

Sorting and distributing incoming mail and packages to the appropriate departments or individuals
Making sure every order is sent out and nothing is left each day
Sorting and filing documents, maintaining organised records
Managing and responding to emails, as well as forwarding them to the appropriate recipients
Arranging online returns and following up with suppliers both online and via the telephone
Keeping the parcel room well stocked and tidy
Bringing technical problems to the office manager's attention, making suggestions for improving processes
General admin, ad-hoc research and projects as they arise
Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow
Updating data into computer systems or databases with a high level of accuracy
Communicating with office on jobs for clients, ensuring and meeting client deadlines
Making sure all orders are checked before despatch
Administration tasks as and when requested
Overseeing the mail room

Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Abilities

Previous office administration experience
Previous experience processing invoices and dealing with stock control
Strong IT skills including high competency with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook, and the internet
Strong numerical skills
