Rolling 3-Month Contract | £300 per day (Umbrella) | Central London
Help Improve Lives Through Accessible Housing
I'm currently working with a Local Authority in Central London seeking an experienced Adaptations Surveyor to join their housing team on a rolling 3-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering adaptations that enable residents to live independently and safely in their homes while working within a supportive and collaborative team.
The Role
As an Adaptations Surveyor, you'll be responsible for managing a caseload of disabled facilities adaptations from initial assessment through to completion, ensuring works are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
·Carry out property surveys for disabled adaptations.
·Manage adaptation projects from design through to completion.
·Liaise with Occupational Therapists, contractors, residents and internal stakeholders.
·Monitor contractors on site, ensuring quality, compliance and health & safety standards are met.
·Certify completed works and manage project budgets.
What We're Looking For
·Previous experience working as an Adaptations Surveyor, Building Surveyor or in a similar housing role.
·Experience delivering Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) adaptations or housing adaptations.
·Strong knowledge of residential building construction and relevant legislation.
·Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
·Full UK Driving Licence (preferred).
