Are you a professional and personable Receptionist looking for flexible temporary work?
We are seeking reliable and adaptable individuals to join our temporary team, providing front of house and reception support for a range of clients across Maidstone and the surrounding areas.
This role involves covering holiday leave, sickness absence and additional business support, with assignments varying in length and notice period depending on client requirements. As this is ad hoc temporary work, hours are not guaranteed each week, making it ideally suited to someone looking to supplement their income, work around other commitments, or gain experience across a variety of business environments.
Key Responsibilities
Meeting and greeting visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
Managing incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately
Maintaining a tidy and organised reception area
Handling visitor sign in procedures and issuing passes where required
Managing meeting room bookings and hospitality arrangements
Responding to emails and general enquiries
Providing administrative support to office teams as needed
Delivering excellent customer service and representing the client professionally
Skills & Experience Required
Previous reception, front of house, customer service or administrative experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional presentation and a positive, customer focused approach
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Ability to adapt quickly to different working environments
Reliable, flexible and able to work at short notice when required
