Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an Activities Coordinator to join a large healthcare organisation on a temp-to-perm basis.

The Role
As an Activities Coordinator, you will:

???? Plan and organise a variety of activities based around residents’ interests and abilities.
*
???? Deliver engaging activities including arts and crafts, music, games, quizzes and social events.
*
❤️ Encourage residents to participate and promote their wellbeing, independence and quality of life.
*
???? Build positive relationships with residents and create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
*
???? Work alongside care staff to ensure activities are appropriate to individual needs and abilities.
*
???? Support the organisation of special events, celebrations and entertainment within the care home.
About You
*
Previous experience working with older people, ideally within a care home or healthcare setting.
*
Friendly, creative and enthusiastic approach.
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*
Patient and compassionate, with a genuine interest in supporting residents.
