The Company:
Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for one of the most reputable Acoustic consultancies in the UK. Having worked on over 17,000 projects, they are experts at delivering innovative noise and vibration services. They are looking for an experienced Acoustic Consultant to join their dynamic team, in their London office.
Impressively, my client has their own Research Lab where they use their high- calibre facilities to improve Acoustic performance. Here, they develop new complex methods to analyse noise and vibration, as well as tailored design solutions. Moreover, they have a rapidly growing Environmental Monitoring arm which work closely with a multitude of projects, such as outdoor festivals, wind farms, and construction sites.
Role responsibilities include:
Providing bespoke Acoustic solutions.
Undertaking various noise impact assessments on site.
Collating the data to write factual reports for clients.
Completing sound and noise surveys.
Managing and motivating an enthusiastic team of Graduate Consultant.
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum 2 years' experience as an Acoustic Consultant, in both environmental and building Acoustics.
A membership to the Institute of Acoustics, is preferred.
A relevant degree in Acoustics or Physics. An engineering degree with relevant modules will also be considered.
Experience using Acoustic modelling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Cadna).
UK drivers license.
