Role: Accounts/Admin Assistant
Sector: Building Supplies - Builders Merchants - Construction
Location: Altrincham, Cheshire
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
Working Hours: Mon - Fri (37.5 hours/week)
We are recruiting for an Accounts/Admin Assistant to help with the day to day running of a busy and well-established, builders' merchant and Plant Hire company, based in the Altrincham area.
As an Accounts/Admin Assistant you will be part of a tight knit team within a large branch environment. The role will involve an element of answering phone-calls and some general administration.
Customer interaction with committed customer service as an Accounts/Admin Assistant is also a major part of the position in general, so a pro-active approach and positive attitude will be required at all times.

As an Accounts/Admin Assistant, you will be required to have experience in:
Booking in stock
Credit control
Xero and Sage Payroll
Supplier invoice processing and payment
Knowledge of pension calculations
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of current tax codes and VAT calculations etc
Bank reconciliation
Handling and Banking of cash
Processing stock transfers
Resolving supplier and customer queries
Stock take input
Any other administration duties required by the Accounts + Payroll Manager
