My client is seeking an experienced accounts candidate on a temporary basis with potential to go permanent.

You would be working in a superb office environment with a real team spirit.

You will either have prior experience working in a finance/accounts team and be part AAT qualified or have been working in a data driven role and be interested in a career in finance and undertaking funded AAT training. Candidates who are not current AAT studiers must be educated to A level or equivalent and hold English and Maths GCSE Grade 4 (or C) and above. Prior knowledge of Xero would be an advantage. A qualified workplace mentor is available to provide study support and to help progress your training.

Specific responsibilities are likely to include:
Data Analysis and Reporting

Monthly reporting of KPI’s from our internal clinical system.

Merge and analyse data sets to populate a database required for compliance data reporting

Produce weekly dashboard data and background data to generate invoicing for contracts

Keep individual trackers up to date to ensure accurate appointment coding
Purchase ledger

Deal with day-to-day supplier queries

Prepare fortnightly supplier payment run for approval

Send remittance advice’s to suppliers
Sales ledger

Provide absence cover for processing of invoices and backing data for submission to ICB

Processing private patients card payments from Stripe
Month end and year end

Assist with month end balance sheet reconciliations

Bank reconciliation posting payments and receipts where required

Post staff expenses and credit card expenses
