TPF Recruitment is recruiting for an Accounts & Tax Senior to join a fantastic firm of chartered accountants based in Ashford.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with accountancy practice experience looking for a varied role across accounts and tax. The firm offers hybrid working and is happy to consider both full time and part time candidates.
As an Accounts & Tax Senior, you’ll work closely with managers and the senior team, preparing accounts and tax returns and building relationships with clients. Alongside a salary of £40,000 to £55,000, the package includes an annual bonus, parking and a healthcare benefit.
Responsibilities
As an Accounts & Tax Senior, your responsibilities will include:
Preparing year end accounts for a varied portfolio of clients.
Preparing corporation tax computations and returns.
Preparing personal tax returns and supporting clients with tax compliance.
Assisting with bookkeeping and VAT work where required.
Liaising directly with clients to obtain information and resolve accounts and tax queries.
Managing your workload to ensure assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
Supporting junior colleagues and working closely with managers to deliver an excellent client service.
Requirements
To be considered for this Accounts & Tax Senior opportunity, you’ll have:
Previous accounts and tax experience within an accountancy practice.
A good understanding of statutory accounts preparation, corporation tax and personal tax.
Confidence using accountancy software.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage your own workload.
Good communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients.
A friendly, collaborative approach and a willingness to support colleagues.
