Your new role
As an Accounts Senior / Assistant Manager, you will take responsibility for reviewing year-end accounts and corporation tax returns, supporting junior team members and managing workflows to ensure client deadlines are met.
Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns prepared by junior staff
Liaising with clients to resolve accounts and tax queries
Providing general accounting and software support to clients
Managing workflow planning and ensuring assignments are completed efficiently
Supporting ad hoc client projects
Contributing to process improvements and best practice initiatives
Building and maintaining strong client relationshipsWhat you'll need to succeed
ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified
At least 5 years' experience within an accountancy practice environment
Strong accounts preparation and corporation tax knowledge
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong communication and client relationship-building abilities
High attention to detail
Proactive and solutions-focused approach
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritiesWhat you'll get in return
Salary of £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
