THE COMPANY
Our client, an established business based in Cannock require an experienced Accounts Senior to work in their busy Accountancy Practice.
THE ROLE
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing accounts, managing client relationships, and supporting junior staff. Responsibilities will include Preparation of statutory accounts for a variety of clients. Reviewing financial statements and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, managing a portfolio of clients, and acting as their primary point of contact. Supervising and mentoring junior team members and assisting with audit processes where necessary. Liaising with clients and HMRC to resolve queries and keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards.
REQUIREMENTS
Ideal experience would be 5 years working within an accountancy practice. ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or part qualified. Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
