Key Duties
Work on a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from sole traders to limited companies.
Prepare monthly and year-end accounts.
Assist with both personal and corporate tax compliance.
Manage VAT returns and bookkeeping tasks.
Attend client meetings and handle day-to-day queries.
Requirements
Ideally AAT qualified, although applications are welcomed from those with relevant experience but without formal qualifications.
Good working knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Word.
Previous recent experience within an accountancy practice is essential.
Experience at Technician or Semi-Senior level is preferred.
Ability to work from the Barnstaple or South Molton offices in North Devon.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive client relationships.
