A manufacturing company located in Newmarket is seeking an Accounts & Sales Administrator to join their team on a 1-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role thereafter.

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager and closely collaborating with the Export Manager and Sales team, you will oversee accounting and sales administrative processes. Your responsibilities will include

• Managing credit control to ensure debtors are handled according to company financial procedures.
• Processing purchase ledger invoices, customer sales invoices, commercial invoices, and credit notes using ERP and Sage software.
• Gathering all delivery notes from stores.
• Handling supplier invoices within the ERP system.
• Addressing processing issues with stores.
• Sending daily supplier remittances via email.
• Monthly reconciliation of supplier accounts to ensure timely payments.
• Communicating with suppliers.
• Sending monthly customer statements.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with familiarity in Sage Line 50 software being highly advantageous. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential. If you are a proactive and motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, this role is well-suited for you.
