Job Description: As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Managing the accounts receivable ledger and ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts
* Generating and sending invoices to customers
* Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
* Handling customer inquiries and resolving billing issues
* Collaborating with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure accurate invoicing and payment processing
* Monitoring aging reports and following up on overdue accounts
* Assisting with month-end closing procedures and reporting
Requirements:
* Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar role
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
