Accounts Receivable Assistant Part-Time (24 hours a week)
Our Coventry-based client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their finance function in a position that requires 24 hours a week ( 3 or 4 days considered)

Key Responsibilities:
*
Generate Sales Invoices and Credit Notes: Ensure accuracy in all transactions.
*
Minimise Outstanding Debts: Communicate effectively with customers to ensure timely payments.
*
Issue Statements and Maintain Accounts: Keep customer accounts accurate and up-to-date.
*
Collaborate with Departments: Address billing queries promptly.
*
Conduct Month-End Checks: Ensure consistency and accuracy in coding.
*
Manage Debtors: Handle correspondence, payments, and queries efficiently.
*
Assist in Cash Flow Forecasting: Manage company direct debits and standing orders.
*
Reconcile Credit Card and Expense Accounts: Ensure all accounts are accurate.
*
Support the Finance Team: Assist with daily bank reconciliations and gather information for foreign accounts.
What's required:
*
Ideally, previous experience working in a Billing/Sales Ledger/Credit control environment
*
Consideration may be given to those with office/admin experience seeking a transition into Finance
*
Proven Customer service skills and experience dealing with customers (inbound/outbound communication)
*
Willingness to Learn: Desire to engage in further training and a commitment to continuous improvement
*
Any finance qualification, degree, or A-level is advantageous
