Accounts Payable Team Leader

As an Accounts Payable Team leader, you would report to the Finance Operations Manager and lead a team of friendly Finance Administrators, in supporting them and being a point of contact for the team with questions and queries .

The overall purpose of your job is to be responsible for the back-office finance administration of a selection of Travel Agents, BACS, CHAPS and SEPA bank transfers and account reconciliation.

Part of an Accounts Payable duties include

* Process Supplier Payments

* BACS, CHAPS and SEPA bank transfers

* Conduct general back-office administration duties

* Liaise with Travel Suppliers

Accounts Payable team leader skills

* Accounts Payable experience in the Travel ideally.

* Experience of leading a team

* Using MS Excel (intermediate level, knowledge of formulas)

* Building relationships with business partners/suppliers by phone & email

* Working with Sage or similar accounting product (ideal, but not essential)

* Work within a Finance Department and be specialised in Accounts Payable

* Processing bank reconciliations (not essential)

* Processing large quantities of bank transfers
