Company Overview:
Coinford is a groundworks and concrete frame specialist that delivers contracts ranging from £1million to £50million throughout London and the South East of England. This role works out of our Plant Yard, Redehall Industrial Park, Burstow.
Role Purpose/Objective:
To promptly an efficiently order parts for the fleet, to ensure all purchases are made cost efficiently. To manage stock levels and ensure fast moving popular parts are always available, to ensure fleet downtime is kept to a minimum.
Responsibilities:
* Invoice Management:
* Accurately review and verify all invoices.
* Follow up on goods received notes to ensure completeness.
* Invoice Processing:
* Match, batch, and code invoices efficiently.
* Process invoices in a timely manner, ensuring proper coding and authorization at all stages.
* Reconciliation and Payments:
* Conduct monthly statement reconciliations.
* Assist in the production of payment runs, twice monthly, across all companies.
* Handle ad hoc payments, including Cheque, BACS, and CHAPS transactions.
* Issue Resolution:
* Effectively and promptly resolve queries and disputes by liaising with staff and suppliers.
* Provide excellent service while prioritizing the company's best interests.
* Additional Responsibilities:
* Perform various ad-hoc duties as required by the Payables Manager.
* Assist in the preparation of the purchase ledger for year-end closing.
* Process directors’ expenses and manage company credit cards.
* Support and Coverage:
* Cover for the Payables Manager during their absence.
Qualifications:
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
* Excellent communication skills for resolving issues with staff and suppliers.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
