Lead a team of eight, overseeing the day-to-day Accounts Payable function across a multi-site, multi-entity business, ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely payments and strong financial controls. You'll also work closely with senior stakeholders to improve processes, support system enhancements and drive operational efficiency.

Description
Lead, develop and motivate a team of eight AP professionals.
Oversee high-volume invoice processing, payment runs and supplier reconciliations.
Ensure robust financial controls, approval processes and purchase order compliance.
Manage complex supplier queries and payment escalations.
Support month-end activities, including accruals, prepayments and reporting.
Drive process improvements, automation and system optimisation.
Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Finance and the wider business.Profile
Proven experience managing a high-volume Accounts Payable function and a sizeable team.
Strong experience within a multi-site, multi-entity environment.
Background in property, real estate, hospitality, hotels or retail.
Hands-on SAP experience, ideally SAP Business ByDesign.
Strong understanding of purchase orders and three-way matching.
Excellent knowledge of financial controls, reconciliations and payment processes.
Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
A proactive approach to process improvement and operational efficiency.Job Offer
