As Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the purchase ledger function, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and supporting month-end deadlines. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Knowsley.

Description
The Accounts Payable Clerk duties include:
Process a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
Match invoices against Goods Received Notes
Purchase Orders
Supplier queries
Reconcile supplier statements
Support month-end activities and ensure strict deadlines are achieved.
Assist with ad hoc finance and administrative duties as required.
Profile
A successful 'Accounts Payable Clerk' should have:
Experience within an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger role.
Strong attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to investigate and resolve issues independently.
Proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
