ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK
UXBRIDGE
SALARY UP TO £33K DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
Our client is a leading supplier of rail infrastructure and they are now looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with at least 2 years of experience within finance preferably in construction industry.
They are currently based in Perivale, however, they will be moving to Central Uxbridge in 2024.
Responsibilities & Role
* Monitoring Accounts inbox and printing off all supplier invoices for processing.
* Matching supplier invoices with Purchase orders and completing PO’s -Syrinx /Eque2 Construct/SAGE.
* Processing all purchase (supplier Invoices) and refunds/ credit notes etc. on Syrinx /Eque2 Construct/SAGE.
* Liaise with Procurement team and manage if any PO issues before processing in Syrinx /Eque2 Construct/SAGE.
* Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve issues daily.
* Deal with supplier queries via telephone, email.
* Chasing proof of delivery on timely manner and to make sure they are in fact received before the suppliers are picked up for payment runs.
* Reconcile supplier accounts to periodic supplier statements and resolve differences.
* Perform payment runs – BACS payment and uploading on to bank line for approval.
* Send out remittance advice for payments.
* Filling all paperwork on a daily basis.
* Year end audit support and liaising with auditors- Relevant to Purchase ledger.
* Any other Ad-Hoc duties.
